Are you up for a challenge?
I’m always up for a challenge. (Which probably goes without saying as a business owner because who doesn’t face a challenge from time to time in her business?)
I love the goal-setting part of a challenge, mapping out how I’m going to reach the goal and charting my progress along the way. Last week I hit my yearly book-reading goal and have read 40 books in 2018! My nightstand doesn’t collect random books, it’s actually reserved for the book I’m reading right now which is Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owns. I love reading and it's always a mix of fiction and personal and professional development. Most of the books I’ve read this year are books I haven’t read before, but there are a few classics I read again and again.

Which is how my copy of Jack Canfield’s The Success Principles came to be so dog-eared and worn the cover is about to fall off, as you can see in the picture. I’ve scribbled notes on nearly every page. I refer to it often and have created my own success by implementing the strategies outlined in the book. To me, The Success Principles is a guide to growing your business and a source for finding motivation and inspiration when you need it most. The book was written for any and every business professional. I read it through the lens of being a business owner and with you, the female entrepreneur, in mind. It’s also how I developed the free 6 Days to Ultimate Business Success Challenge.
This challenge will help you apply best practices and principles from the book to your business and, of course, help you keep more of the money you make in the coming year. Signing up and participating in this challenge means you:
Decide what you want in 2019.
Turn big goals into small, achievable tasks.
Pay yourself first and develop a new relationship with money.
Identify ways you’re holding yourself back.
Establish a team of people who can hold you accountable and help you reach your goals.
You can complete each one of these action items on your own, but will you? What is it worth to you and your business to get a jumpstart on the new year?
Even though I’m motivated to reach my book-reading goal every year, the thing that keeps me on track is knowing that I’ve shared my goal, out loud and publicly in my newsletters (which you can sign up for right here.)
Accountability and support lead to success. Both of which are part of the 6 Days to Ultimate Business Success Challenge. I’ll help you map out a plan and develop a strategy that leads to sustained success in 2019
