Friday's Featured Entrepreneur - Tracey Warren - The Social Playground

Each Friday meet a featured entrepreneur, all are trusted colleagues, most I am honored to call friends, the others I just stalked mercilessly until they said YES, and some are even current clients or graduated ones.....but I'll let them decide if they want to share that! You'll learn a thing or two and likely laugh a bit. They are all as candid in real life as they are here!
Describe yourself – I am a social media superhero, able to establish reputations online,
create communities and build relationships. I want to change the way we use social
media to market our businesses. I believes that one of the worst things to be on social media
is forgettable, and want to improve the way we as entrepreneurs show up to be seen and
heard, so we are not just memorable but unforgettable! I am known for my tell like it is
style for this both funny and full of humor.
Describe your business – Coaches hire me to build and manage their social media communities. In addition, I work with other entrepreneurs in a group setting or one-to- one to teach them how to manage their profiles on their own.
What are the stunning results clients/customers get when they hire and work with you? My clients get their time back to focus on income producing activities. In addition, my clients get opportunities to be featured as guest bloggers, speakers and podcasts through my social media outreach on their behalf.
What’s the biggest challenge you ever faced in your business and how did you resolve it? Choosing a niche. I think I was fearful and I know I was reluctant. But, it has been so freeing to say I work with coaches. It makes it so much easier to direct my communications and solicitations!
What’s the one question you wish clients would ask you but they never do?
I wish they would call me or ask the simple questions about how to do something that leave them frustrated. Typically, these things cost them an hour of aggravation and it would have taken us less than 5 minutes over the phone to solve.
Best time saving business tool you use? A virtual assistant.
Current book you are reading? The One Thing by Gary Keller
What book do you recommend the most to other entrepreneurs? Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuk
What is the best piece of business advice you’ve ever received and who gave it to you? Dear Lord woman, pick a niche. – Debbie Whitlock. That probably isn’t exactly what you said…but I can hear your voice saying it. (Insert from me....Debbie.....) Awwwwww that's awesome! xo
